Professional biography
Brittny earned a bachelor's degree in Consumer Science with a minor in Marketing and Merchandising from Southeastern Louisiana University. Before entering real estate, she worked in banking at IBERIABANK, Hancock Bank and Whitney National Bank. That experience established an early foundation in consumer finance, economic trends and the relationship between lending and housing.
After beginning her real estate career in 2013, Brittny worked with Keller Williams Realty and Latter & Blum. On March 24, 2017, she announced the launch of Brittny McKay Real Estate. She went on to build an independent brokerage while earning state and regional sales recognition and maintaining multi-million-dollar producer status.
In 2022, Brittny affiliated her brokerage with ERA Real Estate and became one of the youngest franchise owners in the ERA network. After her ERA tenure, she returned Brittny McKay Real Estate to independent operation. Her career includes brokerage ownership, residential sales, real estate investment, agent training and mentorship.
Her background in consumer behavior, marketing and merchandising informs how she evaluates market conditions, prepares properties for sale and develops strategies suited to each client's goals. She works with first-time buyers, experienced homeowners, sellers and investors while sharing practical information about homeownership and real estate investment.
